The detached house is located within the Kingston Hill/Coombe Hill Strategic Area of Special Character and has a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) issued on the site.
Our client sought large extensions to accommodate their growing family. We carefully designed the extensions to comply with the Council’s heritage and tree policies, ensuring the roof form and fenestrations were consistent with the townscape and the character of the surrounding area. We also responded to objections raised by neighbours during the statutory consultation process, ensuring the proposed impacts were acceptable in planning terms. Planning permission was granted without the need for further amendments.
